Leon Miller Endowed Athletic Scholarship

Sponsored by the Gulf Coast State College Foundation in honor of Mr. Leon Miller. Mr. Miller served as a College counselor from 1969-1999 and as Men’s Basketball Associate Coach from 1975-1977. Through his role at the College and his prominent presence in the local community, Mr. Miller has been considered a local legend and community mentor for many decades. Recipients will be selected by the Men’s Basketball Head Coach at Gulf Coast State College. Preference will be given to a student athlete on the Gulf Coast State College Men’s Basketball Team. Qualified applicants have to complete the Foundation’s general scholarship application in order to be considered. Award amounts are determined by the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
