High School Honors Scholarship

Sponsored by the Gulf Coast State College Foundation. Applicants must first complete the Foundation’s general scholarship application and then complete a separate application to qualify. Recipients will be selected by the GCSC honors program selection committee. Preference will be given to students with unweighted grade point averages of 3.5 or higher and who are currently seniors attending a high school (public, private, charter, virtual or home schooled) in Bay, Gulf or Franklin Counties. Priority will be given to students who are planning to become active participants in the GCSC Honors Program. The honors program scholarship selection committee will determine the award amounts each year. Application deadline is March 15, 2021.

REQUIREMENT: Please read - In order for your honors application to be accepted and scored, you must send a referral email to your senior adviser or guidance counselor and two (2) letters of recommendation to non-family members. It is your responsibility as an applicant to make sure your referral sources know that you are going to ask for their assistance.
