Mrs. Diane Skoriak

Captain Michael T. Skoriak was a fireman through and through. He became a volunteer firefighter in New York at the age of 18 and was one until the day he died on May 31, 2001. Capt. Skoriak was passionate about fire science and encourage his fellow firefighters to continue their education. Capt. Skoriak earned his associates degree in fire science on May 5, 2001-weeks before his death. This scholarship was created to acknowledge Capt. Skoriak’s love of fire science education.

Mrs. Diane Skoriak along with the help of the Panama City Beach Fire Department created this scholarship in the name of Capt. Skoriak.
