Gulf Coast State College Alumni Association

In July 2008, the GCSC Alumni Association was established and developed by the GCSC Foundation. Under the guidance of the Foundation, the Alumni Association will function independently to support the mission of Gulf Coast State College.

The Alumni Association is organized to promote the welfare, development, and advancement of Gulf Coast State College by encouraging community awareness and support for educational programs, enhancements, and opportunities. The Alumni Association serves Alumni in pursuit of their careers; recognizes their accomplishments; sets the stage for their volunteerism and active participation; and perpetuates among them a sentiment of affection and responsibility for the betterment of Gulf Coast State College.

Our mission is to engage alumni, students, supporters and friends of GCSC in programs, events and services that ignite interest, build loyalty, and create support for Gulf Coast State College.

Gulf Coast State College serves a widely diverse student population. Many of our students are full-time, traditional students. While many others are part-time, students with full time jobs. Still others are occasional students or former students who are still participating in campus events and activities. Most of our students are taking credit courses, however we also serve a large number of community members interested in non-credit courses through our Corporate College program. The GCSC Alumni Association welcomes everyone who has completed a degree and/or a certificate program at GCSC to join with an Alumni Membership. We also welcome supporters who are not GCSC alumni, but who are interested in supporting the mission of the GCSC Alumni Association with our new Alumni Friend Membership.
